ECYPS-Strengthening the voluntary sector children, young people and family services
ECYPS is an umbrella organisation co-ordinating and strengthening children and young persons’ services. We provide advice and support to voluntary and community organisations working with children and young people aged 0-25 years.

A vital facet of our work includes providing support to families facing everyday challenges in their lives. ECYPS offers a wide range of programmes and direct services to improve and build stronger families and stronger communities.

ECYPS work inclusively and offer a range of specialist training programmes for staff and volunteers who work with Children & Young People:

Parenting-Supporting parents to achieve a better future
ECYPS facilitates a range of parenting programmes to support parents enhance and develop parent/child relationship, promote children’s social skills, confidence and self-esteem. We are currently offering a 4 week online Introduction to Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities parenting programme.

Cycling Project
Counselling

We also offer the following direct services for children and young people:

Friday night youth Club for young carers (Term time only)
I Feel Good (Term time only)
Teenscheme (during half term and summer holidays)
DBS surgery (for Disclosure & Barring Service) takes place on Thursdays from 10 am – 3 pm at our main office (see below)
Food Bank
ECYPS run a food bank every Saturday between 11-12 pm. A self-referral form will need to be completed.
AQA for young people
Flexible education programme that rewards success. A pathway to achieve vocational qualifications.

We are a registered centre offering unit award schemes to community organisations, schools and local authority department.

The scheme makes it an ideal vehicle for raising:
