PEGS is a social enterprise focused on the issue of Child to Parent Abuse, which affects at least 3% of UK households according to expert estimates. CPA can take the form of physical, verbal, financial or sexual abuse. PEGS have four main aims: raising awareness, helping develop national and regional policy, training frontline professionals (how to recognise, respond to and signpost), and supporting parents. All parents are supported for free, no matter the age of their child (including adult offspring), via a closed peer support group, virtual drop-in sessions, workshops and programmes, one-to-ones, and advocacy.
