Terapia has been offering in-depth training in therapeutic work with children and adolescents since 2003.  Our training is demanding, and Terapia graduates offer the highest standard of knowledge and therapeutic skills in the psychotherapy profession. We established best practice in child psychotherapy, along with the latest findings from neuroscience to resolve psychological pain and recover lives and hope. We know it works.  Our training also covers working with adult clients and parents.

We provide highly specialised counselling, psychotherapy and bespoke mental health services for children, young people, adults, parents and families. Our services are delivered in a wide range of settings including schools, colleges, and statutory and voluntary organisations, including our open access low-cost therapy service at our purpose-built centre in Finchley, North London.

Most of our services are provided by psychotherapists-in-training who provide therapy to clients as part of their professional development, with the support of rigorous, regular clinical supervision with a Terapia supervisor. Additional support is provided by our clinical services staff, and some of our services are delivered and/or overseen by qualified child psychotherapists
