Barnardo’s has over 150 years of experience in supporting the most vulnerable children, young people and families in the UK. We deliver services that achieve Stronger Families, Safer Childhoods and Positive Futures, focusing on: Early years and early intervention for families, Mental health and wellbeing, Child sexual abuse and exploitation , Children in and leaving care with a focus on children and young people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities and much more.
We also amplify the voices of young people to influence Government on the issues that affect their lives, fighting their corner and making sure their voices are heard.
We support Looked-after Children and Care Leavers aged 0-18 or up to 25 if care-leavers, categorised into following groups:
– In Care including Secure Unit
– A Care Leaver
– Seeking asylum
– Participating in a family group conference
– Subject to a child protection plan.
