We deliver high quality careers guidance, information and advice to young people at key transition points to enable them to make an informed career decision. The services offered at the key transition points include:
Year 8/9 – Group sessions on Skills Development, GCSE subject’s choice, Work Experience.
Year 11 – One to one career guidance exploring Post 16 Options, Career Pathways, Employability Skills.
Year 12 – One to one career guidance exploring Post 18 options, Career Pathways, Employability Skills.
Unemployed aged 16-18 (16-24 for UC claimants or EHCP learners)– information, advice and guidance, workshop on Apprenticeship and Employability skills, signposting to learning providers – some delivered via Enfield Youth Hub
Our target audience is:
– Years 9- 13 students attending an Enfield school
– Enfield residents who are unemployed and 16-18 and up to 25 for those who are UC claimants OR have an Education Health and Care plan (EHCP)
Referral process:
For those attending an Enfield secondary school, referrals are made directly to the Careers Advisor as part of traded offer OR via Youth Hub referral form, the link is www.enfield.gov.uk/youthhubreferral
