NHS Enfield talking Therapies

Enfield Talking Therapies offers a range of 1:1 and group therapies for adults

struggling with low mood, stress and anxiety, registered with an Enfield GP.

 

You can talk about your problems and worries with a trained clinician online, on

the phone, or in person. Specially trained, confidential interpreters are available to

help access treatment in your preferred language, including sign language

interpreters.

 

Service is comprised of:

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) – who are skilled at helping people

find practical ways to manage their difficulties. Methods used include guided self-

help, stress management skills and psycho-education groups.

CBT therapists – are trained to deliver cognitive behavioural therapy with you

alone or in a group.

Counsellors who are trained to provide you with an opportunity to talk about your

difficulties as well as difficulties from the past.

 

 

 

Duration

Support can vary from 6 to 12 weeks – depending on the nature of the therapy

Adults (18+) registered with an Enfield GP

Opening times

Office Opening Hours: Monday – Friday: 08:00 – 17:00

Therapy offered Monday – Friday 8:00 – 17:00. Evening appointments offered on

Tuesday and Thursday until 20:00.
