EPC supports children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities or who require special assistance, and their families, to succeed in education and community life to improve their life chances.
At the present time we offer the following services:
Starfish – a personal development programme delivered in local primary schools.
Young People’s Service – supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability to develop agency, access local services and provide peer support. Current programme of activities includes weekly fitness and martial arts session and monthly self-advocacy training.
Perinatal Psychotherapy – delivered in partnership with the CCG, the service support mothers and babies through psychotherapy.
ABC Parenting Child Health Community Champions Lead – a partnership project providing training to families, with children under 2-year
Counselling and Wellbeing
The service is open for children and young people aged 5 – 18, with Special Educational Needs/Disability and those at risk of mental health. The service is provided free of charge and will be available from January 2023
